Project Linus Fleece Blankets. For the past few days we've been working on some fleece blankets for Project Linus which is a really cool organization that provides blankets to children and teens in the hospital. We've finished the fleece in a few different ways, but my favorite. Project Linus blankets must be of excellent quality and free from contaminants. Special care should be taken to ensure that blankets are free of smoky smells or any chemicals which could cause problems for a child. Fleece blankets: fleece makes great, warm blankets for older children.

Blanket Guidelines. Due to the changing needs of our recipients, baby blankets are the priority for Project Linus Tucson. Here are the general guidelines for making blankets. Please do not use wool or wool-blend fabric or yarn to avoid allergic reactions. Don’t use yarn fringe. Make blankets from 100% cotton fabric, polar fleece, or acrylic yarn.
