Jason Halpern is a seasoned developer and MD of the highly successful real estate concern, JMH Development. The company is totally committed to its long held mission to provide high quality and sustainable properties throughout the US. According to an overview published by Crunchbase, Halpern took charge of the family business in 2010. Since then, he has undertaken several investments, including putting $500 million in various real estate projects in New York City.

Some of the flagship projects undertaken by JMH Development in the Big Apple include; a project to transform over 300 warehouses into luxe-apartment and redevelopment of 184 Kent Avenue office and penthouse apartment. The other notable project is the construction of several townhouses under the aegis of the Cobble Hill project.

Besides New York’s Manhattan and Brooklyn, the full-service real estate development company is also active in Miami. In 2014 JMH under the leadership of Halpern announced that it was topping one of its grandest projects yet, a 235-room hotel called the Aloft South Beach in Miami. According to an excerpt published in PRNewswire, the project, which reopened at the beginning of 2015, was developed by JMH Development and Madden Real Estate. The other partnering firms included architect ADD Inc and Plaza Construction Company.

The development featured an 8-storey tower and spacious rooms averaging 360 sq-ft. When it reopened, Aloft South Beach was the first hotel establishment to open in Miami’s, South Beach in 6 years. The amenities on offer at the luxury hotel include 24/7 fitness center, roof deck lounge, outdoor pool, live concert hall and meeting rooms. The strategically located development also boasts breathtaking views of the waterfront and close proximity to the Miami Beach Convention Center and several art galleries, eateries and entertainment joints. Aloft Hotels, operates under the Starwood Aloft brand.

Halpern’s involvement in real estate dates back to the 80’s. According to a feature published by The Real Deal Magazine in July 2015, Halpern began his career in real estate in 1985 at Halpern Enterprises, a firm established by his dad. Jason Halpern is also a Director at Parametric Dining LLC, a mobile technology startup based in Philadelphia, PA. Outside his regular work routine, Halpern is an ardent sporting and travel enthusiast; he is a big fun of football, scuba diving and NASCAR motor racing. The Real Deal Magazine also reported that Halpern was engaged to Veronika Gomeniouk, a model from Ukraine.
